CORNING, NY – June 5, 2019 – Radisson Hotel Corning’s popular new outdoor venue, Market Street Social, is also now one of the town’s hottest spots for alfresco entertainment. In addition to enjoying hand-crafted food and drinks by the culinary duo of Ken Knowles, Director Food & Beverage, and David Tarr, Executive Chef, weekly live music sets the mood for the relaxed, casual atmosphere.

Every Thursday and Friday beginning at 6 pm, Market Street Social gives the Gaffer District some of the hottest local acts in the Finger Lakes region – for no cover charge (summer schedule appears below). When the weather is inclement, the show will be moved inside to Radisson Hotel Corning’s Steuben Bar. Daily happy hours between 4 pm and 6 pm feature rotating specials on food and drinks, including a buy one menu item, get a second half-off deal. On Sundays and Mondays from 4 pm to 6 pm, Market Street Social also presents a yappy hour for dogs featuring a buy one Pamper Your Pooch menu item (house-made gourmet doggie dishes), get a second half-off deal.
Located between the hotel’s north and south buildings on Market Street just steps away from the shops and museums, Market Street Social offers seasonal al fresco dining complemented by fire pits, games and a casual chic atmosphere. The patio space is open daily (weather permitting) from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm for lunch, dinner, snacks or drinks, with local musicians setting the vibe on a rotating weekly basis. As with the rest of Radisson Hotel Corning’s culinary program, Market Street Social features locally-sourced products – utilizing fresh ingredients from the surrounding Finger Lakes area in both its food and beverage programs to give guests an authentic experience. Menu examples include: jerk chicken tacos, local cheese board for two, grass fed mini burger sliders, fried calamari, fresh cut truffle fries and much more.
