SKANEATELES, N.Y. – Jan. 8, 2014 – John Logan, CEO of Mirbeau Hospitality Services LLC (MHS) has promoted Philip Snyder to the position of MHS Controller. MHS specializes in the management of boutique, lifestyle inns, hotels, spas and resorts and provides hospitality consulting and marketing services, operational and asset management, and informational system design and organization. MHS currently manages the hospitality properties for The Mirbeau Companies including Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Skaneateles, N.Y. and Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills in Plymouth, Mass.
As Controller for MHS, Snyder oversees the financial operations of all the properties managed by MHS. He provides MHS with financial reporting, analysis and guidance on all current and future projects, and works closely with the general managers and controllers of each property to provide centralized support, reporting and guidance of the financial operations.
A member of the Mirbeau team since 2009, Snyder most recently held the position of General Manager of Mirbeau Inn & Spa, and prior to that role, he was Controller of the property. Before joining Mirbeau, the Kent, N.Y. native worked for Columbia Sussex Corporation where he took on a number of positions at Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Atlanta Marriott Downtown in Atlanta, Ga. Snyder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management from Paul Smith’s College of the Adirondacks and currently resides in Camillus, N.Y.
