CORNING, NY –Kick off the summer season with the Rockwell Museum of Western Art and the popular Music, Margaritas and Sunsets on the Terrace! This three-part series is the perfect after work, mid-week break! Cool off with delicious margaritas while enjoying live music and an amazing sunset with friends, family or coworkers. Museum members are free and not-yet-members are $10. Advance reservations are required by5:00 p.m. the day before each event. Three events are scheduled once a month, June through August, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
June 26 featuring Virgil Cain
Celebrate summer with Virgil Cain at the first Music, Margaritas and Sunsets on the Terrace of the season. Ever popular with regional audiences, Virgil's music is influenced by Billy Joel, Elton John, Coldplay, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews and John Mayer.
July 24 featuring Jorge T. Cuevas & The Caribe Jazz Allstars
Jorge T. Cuevas & The Caribe Jazz Allstars features some of the best area jazz musicians, playing the wide variety of Latin jazz styles of salsa / mambo, cha cha cha, merengue, bolero, samba, and 6/8. Twin Tiers Ballroom instructor, Monica Witt Meeks, will provide dance instruction to further enhance the celebration! Please join us!
August 21 featuring The John Manfredi Band
John Manfredi has been hailed as the most technically advanced guitarist on the local music scene. Joining him is Colin Gordon on saxophone, and Jim Rosati, Jr. on percussion for a unique blend of blues, and jazz and a rich assortment of pop, country and folk music. Twin Tiers Ballroom instructor, Monica Witt Meeks, will provide dance instruction to further enhance the celebration! Please join us!
