HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY TO OUR WINE CLUB!
a note from our former Club Director
It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since our very first Club shipment! Way back in 2017, our owners, Dave and Melissa, asked me to head up a quarterly shipping program that would enable our most loyal customers to have a steady supply of Buttonwood Grove wines. Not having any idea what I was getting myself into, I said "sure!". I was optimistic that we could have 50 to 100 members in our first year - imagine my surprise when we had more than 60 members for our very first shipment in January 2018! I so clearly remember thinking "HOW am I ever going to get 60+ shipments out the door in one day??". With the help of my friend and teammate Kathy (and many other staff members throughout the ensuing years) we not only got those shipments out on time, we continued to grow and grow and GROW!
During the course of this journey, our Wine Club has become so much more than we ever expected. Our members are not merely customers; we consider them a part of our Buttonwood Grove family. Many people who signed up for that very first shipment are still participating today and have developed close friendships with our team.
Last year, I made the decision to move into a new role in our organization. I feel so fortunate that we were able to find a Club Manager, Kelly Burnett, that shares my vision and excitement and will lead us into the future. I'm so thankful for her, and for all of you that have been such faithful supporters and friends. I look forward to seeing you in the tasting room!
