TripAdvisor is the most popular travel review site on the internet. Travelers use TripAdvisor to plan and book the perfect trip. TripAdvisor allows users to rate and post reviews on businesses including hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, ice cream shops, wineries, museums, and more.
Now in its sixth year, the prestigious Certificate of Excellence designation recognizes establishments that consistently earn great TripAdvisor reviews from travelers. This Certificate accounts for the quality, quantity, and timeliness of reviews submitted by travelers over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share that over two dozen area lodgers and attractions received a 2016 Certificate of Excellence as of close of business on Wednesday, June 8. Chamber President and CEO Rebekah LaMoreaux shares, “The fact that so many of our members received this sought-after award is a testament to the quality of our lodging facilities, restaurants, wineries, and other attractions. It is proof that these business owners work hard to provide wonderful experiences to visitors and to maintain an excellent rating. We could not be more proud of their accomplishments.”
