Canandaigua, NY (June 26, 2014) The local weather forecasters are serving up the perfect weather for opening day of the 14th season at Roseland Waterpark on Saturday, June 28th. “Opening day signals the beginning of summer for our patrons”, beams Marketing Director, Drew Broderick. “School is out so the kids are excited to be able to ride the tube slides, play at the YoBerry Splash Factory and splash in the Giant Wave Pool, which is sponsored this year by the new Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures. Roseland Waterpark draws guests from Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Southern Tier and as well as right here in the Finger Lakes Region. It is a generator of tourist to the area each summer. Roseland Waterpark offers a Splash and Stay program that some area hotels take advantage of so they can package a discount ticket with a hotel room. Many city parks and recreation group also come to the waterpark throughout the summer months. Birthday parties and family reunions at Roseland waterpark are also reasons why it is such a popular attraction. Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more people with at least 72 hours notice.
Throughout the season, Crystal, the Stilt Walking Clown from Just Clowning Around will visit on occasion and The Magic Guy will be back several times with his amazing magic show. Jim from Just Clowning Around will perform his walk around magic when he visits.
Anyone purchasing an Individual Season Pass by July 6th will receive one FREE Regular Admission Ticket and two half priced Regular Admission tickets for each pass purchased. This is a $55 value in bonus tickets.
