Popularity of the FLTA Regional Travel Guide Soars as the Guide Reaches Full Distribution

Aug 19th, 2015

Overwhelming popularity of the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance Travel Guide leads to increased production in 2016

The Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance (FLTA) has distributed all 125,000 regional travel guides printed for 2015 to visitors and partners as of August 19. The overwhelming popularity will mean an increased production of the guide in 2016, from 125,000 to 150,000.

"The Travel Guide is one of the best ways we can show potential visitors what this region has to offer as a whole," said President of the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance, Cindy Kimble. "People are starting to take notice of the Finger Lakes region for the craft beverages, gorgeous views and so much more. Distributing all of our travel guides is just one way you can tell tourism is growing in this region."

The 2015 Finger Lakes Travel Guide has been distributed to 49 states, every state except Hawaii, as well as four Provinces of Canada. The last time there was an increase of production was in 2013 when production moved from 100,000 to 125,000. The guide was released in early January and was expected to last through the end of December.

The Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance Travel Guide is still available digitally at www.ISSUU.com/FingerLakes and you can visit www.FingerLakes.org to get even more information about the Finger Lakes region and the diverse businesses within it.

If you would like your business to be included in the 2016 travel guide, contact the FLTA Director of Sales, Marianne Rosica-Brand at MarrianneR@FingerLakes.org or call the FLTA Office at 315-536-7488
