Seneca Lake Wine Trail Wine Wednesdays at Finger Lakes Welcome Center

Jul 01st, 2019

Geneva, NY – The Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva is the perfect gateway to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. It provides an outdoor play area for kids, delicious NY products in the Taste NY store, expert assistance – and of course, it’s stunningly beautiful. But that’s not all! Starting on Wednesday, July 3, the Center, in partnership with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail will launch Wine Wednesday wine tastings.

Stop by the Center between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesdays in July and August to sample a variety of wines from Seneca Lake Wine Trail member wineries! Tastings are free and serve as a great introduction to the diversity and quality of wines found around Seneca Lake.

Heather Tuttle, General Manager shares, “The Taste NY Market at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center is proud to work with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail during these ‘Wine Wednesday’s’.  These will run weekly and allow visitors to the Welcome Center an opportunity to taste and savor some of the best wines produced in the Finger Lakes region.  With more visibility of these wines, our hopes are to increase revenue to the area and attract more tourists in the future!”

Brittany Gibson, Executive Director of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail adds, “The Finger Lakes Welcome Center is a great opportunity for us to partner with Heather and her team to spotlight our member wineries and share our phenomenal wines. We hope the tastings will entice visitors to venture to our member wineries. You’ll discover diverse and enjoyable wines, Grown Here. Made Here. on Seneca Lake.”
