Summer Walking Tours of Geneva's Historic Neighborhoods

Geneva, N.Y.: This summer the Geneva Historical Society will again offer walking tours of some of Geneva's historic neighborhoods. Discover the many and varied stories of Geneva’s Washington, South Main, and North Main Street neighborhoods with the Historical Society Archivist Karen Osburn this July and August.

Tours will run rain or shine on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. On Wednesday, July 13 the tour will run from Pulteney Park to Washington Street Cemetery. Tours on Wednesday, July 27 will go from Pulteney Park down South Main Street to St. Clair Street. These tours will start from Pulteney Park. The tour on August 10 will begin at the Geneva Public Library and cover North Main Street to Lewis Street. On August 24 the tour will start at First Baptist Church at 134 North Main and end at North Street.

All tours start at 7 p.m. and cost $5 per person. Payment can be made in advance at the Historical Society office or at the beginning of the tour. Please bring exact change or a check if you pay the night of the tour. Reservations are preferred, but not required.
