Canandaigua, N.Y. - Thirty-eight New York State Master Teachers visited Arbor Hill Winery last month to learn from Owner and Winemaster John H. Bram III. Brahm gave a seminar on viticulture (grape growing) and winemaking titled "The Science of Wine Making."

"I am honored that the Master Teachers asked me to share my knowledge," comments Brahm. "it was a privilege to spend the day with them and have the opportunity to teach them about what I do."

The New York State Master Teachers Program "allows our best classroom leaders to share their expertise with their peers, furthering student success and helping to build the foundation for college readiness and the skilled workforce that will keep New York competitive in the 21st century global economy."

He was also in charge of 500 acres of vineyards near Healdsburg, California.
