Watkins Glen, NY – Are you a photography enthusiast? Do you love taking pictures in beautiful Schuyler County? Here's your chance at fame! The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce wants to feature YOUR photo on the cover of the 2016 Travel Guide!
Each year, the Official Schuyler County Travel Guide is created and produced by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce. 150,000 guides are printed. The guide is requested and sent worldwide, officially distributed within a five-hour radius of Watkins Glen, as well as accessible at the Chamber's Visitor Center and available to download in an interactive format on the Chamber's website.
The 2016 cover will feature a fan photo, selected by a voting process combining Facebook likes and voting by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee. To be eligible for consideration, a photograph must be submitted in high resolution, taken at a verifiable Schuyler County location, and must be original and owned by the submitting party. Photos should be submitted to brittany@watkinsglenchamber.com along with the submitters name, address, phone number, photo location, and date the picture was taken, by 5pm on October 31, 2015. Failure to submit all of the required information will render the entry null and void. No late submissions will be accepted.

Aside from the bragging rights and pride in having their photo splashed on the cover of the Travel Guide, the winner will receive a framed print of the 2016 Travel Guide cover, a Watkins Glen hoodie, a FLXopoly Game (custom Finger Lakes Monopoly game), and a public announcement with their name and the winning photo.
