Keuka Spring Vineyards will kick off their annual "Wine Education Series" with "I've Gone Gewurz!" on Friday, June 1 & Saturday, June 2. The series features four tasting events throughout the year:
· "I've Gone Gewurz", June 1 & 2,
· "Shrimp & Chardonnay", June 29 & 30,
· "Merlot & Mignon" on August 3 & 4, and
· "Holiday Barrel Tasting" on December 1 & 2.
Each event features a library tasting of Keuka Spring wines paired with a specialty tasting plate. The one-hour tastings are held outside on the winery's patio overlooking Keuka Lake in small groups with the winemaker. Special library vintages and new releases are available for purchase for event-goers. Tasting times for "I've Gone Gewurz" and "Merlot and Mignon" are Friday at 4 pm and Saturday at 12 and 3 pm. Tasting times for “Shrimp & Chardonnay” this year are Friday at 4 pm and Saturday at 12 and 2 pm. The fee for these events is $25 pp (Vista wine club members are discounted).
