Hillick and Hobbs is dedicated to crafting world class Riesling. Our estate vineyard is currently planted to 25-acres with the slope, akin to Germany’s famed Mosel region.

The winery, named in honor of Paul Hobbs’ parents, Joan Hillick and Edward Hobbs, pays homage to his roots in western New York where he grew up on his family’s farm. In 2013, he revived his family’s legacy of growing grapes in New York when he acquired the 78-acre estate on the banks of Seneca Lake.

Paul has created a name for himself and is internationally recognized. Over his 30-plus year career he has started numerous projects around the globe, that include vineyards in California, Argentina, Armenia, Spain and France.
